Il Mare – Koseda

Il Mare caters for those seeking a change from Japanese cuisine.  The appetizers, main course and desserts are made from local and Italian ingredients (including cheese) chosen by the chef to create mouth-watering dishes.  Il Mare also stock a fine selection of wines to compliment the food.  A full course meal requires calling in advance to make a reservation. Without a reservation you can choose from a range of pasta, risotto and pizza set meals.

Il Mare is located close to Yakushima Airport.  Coming from Miyanoura towards Anbo go past the large Drug Mori store and you will see the restaurant on the left hand side about 100m before your reach the airport..  Coming from the Anbo direction, go past the airport and it's immediately after the Auto 1 garage on the right hand side of the road.

Lunch:   11:30 – 15:00 (last order 14:30)
Dinner:  18:00 – 21:00 (last order 20:30)

Closed: Thursday (if a National Holiday falls on a Thursday then Il Mare will be closed on Wednesday)
